68th Dies - Buccaneers Brews

Tuesdays at Het Walhalla are famously known for their cocktails, but in honor of the 68th Dies, there will be special pirate features.

Seafarers back in the 17th to the 18th century were famous for infusing their drinks with alcohol to allow it to be drinkable enough to survive on the open seas. Rum was the most popular drink, it was made in sugar plantations around where many pirates operated, it had a high enough alcohol percentage to kill bacteria in water, mixing it with limes gave sailors some vitamin C, and it was a major morale booster (I wonder why). For your health and safety, it is highly recommended to drink some some rum-infused drinks, and even the ever-popular 'grog', to prevent scurvy and get your vitamins in :).
