Career Day

Always wanted to know more about career possibilities? Come have a look at the Career Day and get to know interesting companies! This event is a special career event for Electrical Engineering and Automotive students only. It will take place on Tuesday the 25th of May, on the first floor of Flux.


 You can drop by between 11:00 and 14:00! There will be free lunch for the lunch break.

The companies you will find there are:

·         Thermofisher

Thermofisher Scientific produces electron microscopes. Electron microscopes fire electrons and create images, magnifying micrometre and nanometer structures by up to ten million times, providing a spectacular level of detail, and even allowing researchers to view single atoms.
·         Prodrive Technologies

We create technologies that are essential links in the systems which form the basis for today's and tomorrow's world. Our technology, for instance, improves the quality of medical imaging, which allows for diagnostics that recognize diseases earlier and more accurately. Our techniques also contribute to reducing the global dependency on fossil fuels, and to minimizing human exposure to air pollution.

·         Smart Photonics

SMART Photonics, located in Eindhoven, The Netherlands, is a foundry offering production services for mainly Indium Phosphide based photonic components. We are an independent pure-play foundry, using our knowledge, experience and equipment to produce photonic components for our customers, based on their designs.

·         VDL TBP & ETG

VDL TBP Electronics is part of VDL Groep, an international industrial family business with its head office in Eindhoven, the Netherlands. As an electronics manufacturing services (EMS) company, VDL TBP Electronics offers integrated services in the field of printed circuit board assemblies (PCBAs). We employ over 150 people and have experience since 1976 in a variety of sectors: semicon & analytics, science & health, energy & industry, vision, security & space.

VDL ETG is part of VDL group, VDL ETG is active in the semiconductor industry where we ake for example the wafer handlers. We are also active in many other areas such as in the analytical market, the solar market, the medical market and aerospace and defence. VDL ETG employs around 1800 people and is one of the bigger companies within VDL.
