ODIN

Masterdispuut ODIN is a student branch of e.t.s.v. Thor from the Electrical Engineering faculty of the Technical University of Eindhoven. ODIN focuses on students who are interested in the area of 'The Connected World'.By organizing excursions, study-trips and lunch lectures we give the students the opportunity to discover these interesting fields of Electrical Engineering as well as getting into contact with your possible future employer! Besides these educational/informative lectures, ODIN also has some other entertaining activities. For example a yearly barbecue, members night, ODDDDIN and more!ODIN has a slogan, as can be seen in the logo: ‘Eenheid door communicatie’. ODIN - ESA lunch lecture

 Are you interested in space exploration and revolutionary satellite missions? Then we got something for you!

The European Space Agency (ESA) is at the forefront of exploring our universe and understanding our own planet: from mapping the Milky Way to studying Jupiter’s icy moons.

During this ESA lunch lecture (free lunch provided!), you’ll get the unique opportunity to hear from a speaker who has worked directly on two major ESA missions: GAIA, which is creating the most precise 3D map of our galaxy ever made, and JUICE, the mission currently on its way to explore Jupiter and its moons.

During the first part of the session (12:30–13:30), you’ll learn all about the GAIA and JUICE missions and get a glimpse into what it’s like to work at ESA. In the second part, the session will open up for questions and discussion, giving you the chance to dive deeper into topics like space science, engineering, and life at ESA. It is preferred that you attend the entire session, but if you have other obligations that prevent you from doing so, you may leave whenever it is convenient for you.
